Artist Biography

Stephanie Small is an artist located in Napa County, California but she has spent time all over Northern California and Oregon. Nature is an influential inspiration to Stephanie, as she seeks to augment and reflect what she sees around her in a variety of mediums. Inspired by medieval art, the fantasy and science fiction genre and more, Stephanie has developed a style of mythical realism.

Stephanie has been interviewed and featured in several magazines and websites. She has been published several times, however, she is best known for her artwork featured in publications such as the Page, the Twisted Vine, the Unicorn and others. Her artwork will be featured on the cover of several upcoming books and publications. She moderates many art related groups online, holds contests and organizes large group projects for artists worldwide. Stephanie volunteers her time to students of all ages and donates both time and artwork to many local non profits.

Metaphysical Biography

Stephanie Small has been diviner and practicing pagan for over 25 years. With a strong background in astrology and tarot, she is currently designing her own fantasy oracle deck. Stephanie does her own art and has had her artwork featured as cover images and presented in a variety of publications. She has published and illustrated two books "With You I Felt the Tide" and "Unicorns, Mermaids, Dragons and More."

She helped found the Spiral Essence coven. She studies a variety of subjects including healing, magickal creatures and divination. She teaches classes, including the Unicorn Class, through witchschool.com and has taught through organizations such as the Napa Metaphysical Guild, Society for Creative Anachronism, Sonoma County Pagan Network and other groups. She has training in Healing (including advanced energy healing), Kundalini energy work and meditation though a variety of organizations.  She maintains a variety of Pagan and otherkin training groups online.
